If you’re looking for a brunch buffet that feels a little more refined than the usual hotel spread, Alley on 25 at Andaz Singapore delivers an experience that’s as much about quality as it is variety. Perched on the 25th floor, the restaurant recreates the lively spirit of Singapore’s street dining in a stylish, light-filled space, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely weekend catch-up or celebration.
What impressed me most is that this isn’t a buffet that tries to overwhelm you with endless trays of food. Instead, the selection feels thoughtfully curated. The seafood-on-ice station is a clear highlight, featuring freshly shucked oysters, mussels and smoked salmon, while the DIY poke bowl station lets you customise your bowl with fresh toppings. One of the standout features is the made-to-order selection - you can enjoy comforting local favourites like Auntie’s Laksa alongside wok-fried specialties and signature cage-free egg dishes, ensuring everything arrives fresh rather than sitting under heat lamps.
The spread strikes a nice balance between international brunch classics and local flavours. Freshly baked breads and pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, salads and seasonal fruits cater to lighter appetites, while grilled meats, pizzas, pasta and hearty hot dishes satisfy those looking for something more substantial. The dessert section is equally inviting, with a mix of elegant pastries, local kueh, creamy yoghurts and indulgent sweets that make it hard to stop at just one plate.
Beyond the food, it’s the atmosphere that elevates the experience. The open-concept dining spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows and relaxed yet polished service create an inviting ambience that’s luxurious without feeling overly formal. It’s easy to settle in for a long brunch, especially with good company and a coffee in hand while taking in the city views.
