No more gatekeeping on this hidden gem! Located along Cairnhill Road, @tanoshiisg is a Japanese restaurant with an eclectic mix of Korean and French dishes, which essentially are all the dishes that Chef Jang likes to eat himself!

Prepared infront of us by Chef Jang himself as we were seated at the counter. The thinly-sliced beef was cooked with house-made sukiyaki sauce and dropped into a bowl of raw egg.

Live Jeju abalone steamed and served with a sauce made from its innards. I am really happy to find this on the menu because we have been missing the fresh abalones we had in Jeju.

Umami bomb of freshness! The savouriness of the succulent beef beautifully completed the sweet and umami uni, with the ikuras popping hints of salty taste of the sea. Opt for the ๐๐ง๐ข ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข and ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข if you want to better savour each ingredient individually.
