Have always been finding places that sell good assam laksa. Therefore, I was super excited to try @ahsamlaksa assam laksa!

Upon opening up the packaging, the aromatic tangy smell of assam laksa immediately fills the room😌

I was genuinely surprised with their broth! It was super thick with generous amount of fish meat. Also, I love how the sweetness of the pineapple cuts through the tanginess of the entire dish, balancing out the sour, sweet and spicy flavors.

Ah Sam’s assam laksa definitely packs a generous amount of ingredients - chunks of fish meat, thinly-sliced cucumbers and bell peppers, pineapple chunks and shaved onions. This fact itself puts Ah Sam’s assam laksa well-above it’s pricey counterparts. Not forgetting that the broth was very well-balanced, especially suitable for people who are new to assam laksa.

Next, a special mention for their attentive packaging - not only the ingredients are packed separately from the soup, the toppings are also placed separately from the noodles, hence picky eaters can choose what to put into their bowl of assam laksa. Shrimp paste (Hae Ko) was also provided separately in a small container.

Nothing screams comfort than slurping on the warm and comforting sweet, sour and spicy broth at home after a long day at work/school. Head over to @ahsamlaksa and treat yourself to a vibrant, yummlicious bowl of assam laksa!
