Badwater Basin
Can’t wait to hop on my flight to the land of pho and egg coffee! Kindly expect slow replies in the next 2 weeks while I relish myself in authentic vietnamese food and culture🇻🇳.
Before that, let me share with you my experience at the land of salt! Located right in the heart of the Death Valley National Park, Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North America at 282 ft (86 m) below sea level. The salt flats here cover nearly 200 square miles (518 square km), which makes it fascinating as the area seems to stretch on and on, especially when you turn around and see how far you came.
Fun fact is that the water here is not truly “bad,” just very salty. Badwater Basin is a truly unique place to visit! You don’t need a lot of time here, but definitely worth checking out!
