Beiing Wanton Noodles 🥢
The stroke of black sauce at the edge not only adds a tinge of class to the everyday wanton noodles we have from hawker stalls, but it is what makes Beiing Wanton Noodles uniquely recognisable.
I like it that there’s both fried and boiled wantons! The boiled wanton has a more robust flavor as it contains more meat filling compared to the fried wanton. The fried wantons added nice crunch to the entire dish.
The glistening char siu was so tasty! The char siu was tender and each piece has a good amount of fats in it.
The noodles were a tad bit too soft, prefer it to be more firm/springy and al-dente. However, after giving it a good toss, the noodles were able to soak up the sweet and savoury sauce well.
Got my hands on it before circuit breaker started and there’s quite a long wait for it. But good news for those who have not tried it because of the location - @being1ton is currently offering island-wide delivery with no minimum spend required! Head over to their page for more information.
P.S. The only thing missing in delivery order should be uncle’s loud booming voice calling for your number..😅
