Durian Green Bean Soup 🥄

This is a pretty interesting dessert! It’s durian season now and coupled with Singapore’s hot and humid weather, this dessert is suited for Singaporean’s palate (to those who likes durian of course). The green bean soup was thick and flavorful, with a tinge of durian taste in it. I like it that the durian taste was not overpowering, unlike other typical durian desserts. The flavors are well-balanced and the hearty original green bean soup flavor was retained. I find the dessert suitably sweet but I do have a slightly high tolerance.

With the addition of durian, it definitely adds a refreshing touch to the good old traditional green bean soup.

Signature Glutinous Rice 🍚

The glutinous rice was tasty and fragrant. Topped with hae bee (spicy dried shrimps), fried shallots, pepper and seasoning, the glutinous rice was smooth and chewy in texture. Pieces of mushrooms, meat and yam could be found within it too!

Chendol De La Jackfruit 🍹

This is a unique spinoff of our local chendol dessert. You’re in for a surprise because instead of using the usual ingredients found in our typical chendol, unique ingredients such as jackfruit are being used instead! Swipe (the pictures) to check it out or order one and find out yourself!
