Buey Tahan See-Food 瘦不了 EHub Downtown East Brunch

Hidden within @downtowneast is a Halal restaurant @bueytahanrestaurant , offering brunch and tze char.

Unique to their @downtowneast outlet is that it comes with an old-school void-deck mama shop concept that might have you yearning for the days of yore. The interior is so nostalgic and it brings back good old memories when I browse through the shelves lined with vintage snacks and toys. There are even feature walls with quirky food-themed neon lights and a dedicated children’s play area.

Their breakfast/brunch menu is available till 2pm daily, and you can expect hearty yet affordable breakfast items such as:

A buttery croissant filled with creamy chicken and mushrooms. I like how generous they were with the fillings. I only wish that the croissant has more buttery fragrance and flakiness to it.

A huge hearty portion of chicken chipolata, scrambled eggs, hash brown, tomatoes, toasties, baked beans and mesclun salad. Only at $8.50!
