Cheongsudang Seoul — Hanok Cafe in Ikseon-dong
The cafes in Korea are really on the next level. If you’re planning to cafe hop in Seoul, I’d highly recommend you to check out Ikseon-dong.
We spent some time walking around Ikseon-dong, a trendy neighbourhood with many gorgeous cafes house-in renovated traditional Korean houses. Here, you can expect traditional architecture and modern Korean culture merge.
Located in Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, @cheongsudang_ is an incredibly beautiful drinks and dessert cafe housed in a traditional facade. The cafe is divided into two main areas. There is a traditional floor seating area with a view of the garden. And if you’re lazy to take off your shoes, there is a modern seating area with a cool plant display as the centrepiece.
We got a cup of Iced Matcha Latte and Iced Americano to chill in the relaxing ambience while absorbing in the charming vibes of this cafe. We didn’t get their desserts as I assumed it to be only IG-worthy but not taste-worthy, but feel free to try them out and let me know!
