Gardenasia — Rustic Countryside Cafe Near Sungei Buloh

Chanced upon @gardenasia when I went for a trek at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.

I started my meal with a bowl of 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩. It’s pretty creamy, smooth and flavorful, but I like my mushroom soup to be thick with mushroom bits in it, which sadly is missing in this bowl of mushroom soup.

I was quite disappointed with @gardenasia because after a long wait, the 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐲 has finally arrived but I was served a well-done steak instead of medium (which I opted for). Putting that aside, I would say the ribeye steak was still quite tender especially towards the middle and I enjoyed the red wine sauce. The mash was buttery and creamy but I personally think it could be smoother.

Located at a picturesque countryside, @gardenasia is a quaint cafe with a serene ambience. In all honesty, the food isn’t fantastic but it’s a rustic cafe that’s ideal if you’re looking for a “getaway” from the hustle and bustle of city life.
