Good Old Taste Prawn Noodle — Seafood Prawn Noodles at Ang Mo Kio

Fans of prawn noodles! I recently discovered a gem hidden in a coffeeshop at Blk 181 Ang Mo Kio Ave 5!

We tried @goodoldtaste_prawnnoodle 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞 (both soup and dry version). At only $5.80, it comes with a super generous amount of noodles, fresh prawns, scallops and lala. Instead of small halved prawns, I love how they served each bowl of prawn noodles with huge whole prawns that are fresh and de-shelled for easier consumption! The soup was robust and flavorful with hints of sweetness, without being overly intense. As for the dry version, the noodles were doused in a special housemade black sauce. For the price point, I think it’s very worth as there are unique ingredients such as scallops and lala too!

If you’re a fan of Pig Tail, definitely try the 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐢𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞! I especially enjoyed the pig tails as they were so tender!

Considering the quality of the ingredients and the generous portion, prices are inexpensive, with offerings of 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($𝟒), 𝐋𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($𝟒), 𝐋𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($𝟓), 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐬/𝐏𝐢𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($𝟓), 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($𝟓.𝟖𝟎) to 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐬/𝐏𝐢𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($𝟔). I also saw that you can add ingredients such as sotong, sliced meat, pig skin and more!
