Woo Tender — 1++ Hanwoo in Gangnam, Seoul

Hanwoo (Korean Beef) is a must-try when visiting Korea!

After researching, we decided to check out @wootender located in Gangnam, famed for serving 1++ Hanwoo.

Similar to other Korean BBQ restaurant, they served us complimentary appetizers such as salad and a couple of banchan. The salad was such a nice accompaniment to the platters of meat!

Instead of using gas grill, they used charcoal grill here, which could bring a better taste to the beef. We first had their Signature Chateaubriand cut, with each piece aroubd 150g. Do note that they made it compulsory to order at least 300g for the first order. The staff will grill the meat for you and cut them up into pieces. All you have to do is to enjoy the meat😋.

Thereafter, we asked the staff to recommend a cut that’s tender and flavorful. He recommended Ribeye and we got a portion of it. This cut was so damn good we regretted getting 300g of Chateaubriand(which was more expensive too) instead of Ribeye! Much more tender, juicier and a burst of flavors!

Though the price is steep, I would recommend this place if you wanna enjoy quality Hanwoo. Do remember to make reservation beforehand!
