Lerouy — Valentine’s Day Carte Blanche 2022

Over the weekend, I celebrated Valentine’s Day at the one Michelin-Starred @lerouy_ .
Helmed by Chef Christophe Lerouy, who previously led @almabyjuanamador to its one-star accolade in 2016, @lerouy_ is a modern restaurant with an open kitchen concept serving a carte blanche french cuisine. With no menu, the “element of surprise” adds to the excitement of dining at @lerouy_ as we anticipate Chef Lerouy’s seasonal creations.
Seats here are entirely counter-seats, where you can enjoy the calm efficiency of the action-packed kitchen as they prepare the dishes right infront of you. After we were seated, they welcomed us with 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 that’s made up of 4 tapas items. They were enjoyed from mild to strong flavours to whet our appetite.

Next, 🥖𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 was served. Decked with a crunchy crust, the interior was fluffy and dense and it goes really well with the savoury butter.
Priced at $𝟗𝟖++, the 𝟓-𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 that day showcases the following:

Truthfully, I wasn’t blown away by the flavours, but I truly had an enjoyable time dining at @lerouy_ , admiring the intricately plated creations and relishing in the freshness and quality of the ingredients used in every dish.
