They aim to warm not only your belly, but your heart and soul as well. A portion of their proceeds will be donated to a charitable organisation of their choice (mainly involving the young, the old, those with special needs and animals). Currently, 25% of their profits will be donated to SOSD - Singapore’s volunteer-run dog shelter dedicated to the welfare of Singapore’s many street dogs.
To cater to both the young and old tastebud preferences, they have kueh salat and brownies on their menu!
Kueh Salat 💚
Their kueh salat is made from home-ground pandan leaves and blue-pea flowers! How cool is that! The rice layer was beautifully inked with a shade of blue from the blue pea flowers. Laying atop the rice layer is the Pandan custard layer, which was fragrant and smooth. However, I feel that the rice grains were packed a tad bit too tightly together.
Hazelnut Brownies 🤎
I absolutely love the hazelnut brownies! I am a sucker for hazelnuts and I love it that @hearth.bakery were very generous with the hazelnuts! Every bite has that added crunch and fragrance.
Sea Salt Brownies 🤍
Overall, the brownies were rich and moist with the right amount of salt. The sweet and savoury combination just keeps me reaching out for more of that chocolatey goodness.
