Braised Cutlass is one of the must-eat dish when you’re in Jeju and this is a restaurant that I highly recommend you to go for it!
We reached there pretty early, wanting to have it for breakfast but the queue was so long we decided to make a reservation for lunch instead. After placing the reservation, we headed for a hike up Seongsan Ichulbong before returning for our lunch reservation.
We had the Mix Braised Cutlass & Mackerel for 22,000 won. The sauce was mildly spicy, invigorating and super wholesome! It goes so well with rice! I love the savouriness of this dish, complemented with mild sweetness from the braised radish.
Not only was the price point here much cheaper compared to the one we had earlier, they tasted much better too! You can’t go wrong with Matna Sikdang as they are super crowded with the locals too!
