Jiakholiao โ Afternoon Tea
Freshly made on the day of delivery with no added preservatives and MSG, itโs no wonder that these handmade traditional kuehs from @jiakholiao_sg tasted so fresh!

@jiakholiao_sg kuehs are fresh, fragrant and filled with a generous amount of ingredients. I find the ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ interesting as it it very rare to find it in SG nowadays. It tastes alike to Png Kueh and is basically ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ง-๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ช๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ค๐ช๐จ ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ข๐ช๐จ๐๐ง๐ค๐ค๐ข๐จ, ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ก๐ก๐ค๐ฉ๐จ, ๐ฌ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฃ. Their ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ค๐ข๐ง and ๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐ค๐ is also a must try - Soft, fragrant and filled with lots of ingredients! They go really well with @jiakholiao_sg sweet sauce and homemade chilli sauce!
I prefer pan-frying the Png Kueh and Yam/Pumpkin Cake instead of steaming it as I feel pan-frying is able to better bring out the flavors of the ingredients and add a nice crisp outer layer to the otherwise soft kueh/cake.
