Jing Hua Xiao Chi — Homemade Dumplings Since 1989

An unassuming casual chinese restaurant that serves simple chinese dishes affordably. Founded in 1989, @jinghuaxiaochi is renowned for serving delicious homemade dumplings amongst other dishes, with home-style recipes introduced by its founders.

I enjoyed all the dishes a lot! Apart from the signatures such as Xiao Long Bao, I would like to highlight some unique and must-try items that I’ve tried:

Pan-fried Mixed Seafood & Pork Dumplings 🥟

They are shaped differently from the usual fried dumplings you would find outside. Those who enjoy dumplings definitely have to get this as it’s really flavorful and crispy!

Chinese Pizza 🍕

You probably can’t find this item elsewhere?! It’s really cool as the exterior was really crisp and crunchy and tastes like pizza dough! The interior is filled with egg, vegetables and meat. This is a must-try dish!

Rosemary & Cheese Dumplings 🧀

Yes! You’re seeing it correctly! It’s cheese dumplings🤩! Super unique! A bite of these dumplings will fill your mouth with mild cheese flavor. Definitely a must-try for those who are adventurous and of course, CHEESE LOVERS!

Red Bean Pancake 🥞

I love how the exterior is so crisp and the interior is filled with a generous amount of red bean paste. The sesame toppings added a little nutty and sweet flavor to the dish.

Today, the restaurant continues to uphold the tradition of offering "honest-to-goodness" Jing Hua cuisine to its fans old and new. They are available for dine-in, delivery and pick-up. Do check them out for some simple and honest chinese dishes!
