Kakurega — New Japanese Sake and Yakitori Menu

Located in the heart of bustling Chinatown, @kakuregasg is a Japanese Sake and Yakitori Bar, which opened its doors in December 2020.

With a seating capacity of 50, the triple-storey bar has four private rooms. Its cosy and chic ambience makes it the perfect hideout for the twin pleasures in life, sake and yakitori.

@kakuregasg offers an extensive selection of sakes, with an expansive menu featuring a lovely repertoire of refreshing Zensai (starters), Kushi-Yaki (skewer), Sumi-Yaki (charcoal grilled) items, Age-Mono (deep- fried) creations and Itame (sauté) dishes.

I tried some of their new menu items:

Tatami Iwashi (dried sardine sheet) - $12

Kaisen Salad (Japanese sashimi on a bed of mixed greens) -$18.80

Risoto Croquette (deep-fried risotto balls) - $8.80

Arabiki Soseji (Japanese sausage) -$7.80

Buta Bara (grilled Japanese pork belly ) yakitori -$3.80 per skewer

Tebasaki (Japanese chicken wings) -$3.80 per skewer

Tonkatsu (Japanese breaded pork cutlet) - $19.80
