Osomatsu at KINEX โ Modern Japanese Izakaya Opening
Newly opened at @kinexsg Kinex, @osomatsusg is a new addition to the dining scene in the East!
This is a modern Japanese izakaya, conjured by celebrity chef Justin Foo. Here are some interesting dishes we tried:

Stars ambrosial sea urchin; hickory-smoked to accentuate the sweetness of the uni, matched with briny salmon roe and fragrant truffle cream in a delicate shortcrust pastry shell.

Pristine sea bream sashimi imported from Toyosu, seasoned with shio kombu and aromatic truffle oil-scented caviar.

Succulent Binchotan-grilled home-made minced chicken meatballs with finely-chopped chicken soft bone, shiitake mushrooms and onions.

A mixture of house-made tofu, almond meal and shredded potatoes shaped into bite-size pieces and pan-fried till golden brown.

A smouldering gold-dusted charcoal powder-battered juicy chicken thigh, marinated with ginger juice.

Showcases prized, top-grade A4 wagyu from Miyazaki prefecture in Kyushu, in a traditional Japanese chazuke โ an umami kombu dashi stock poured over Japanese rice, served with a pot of green tea on the side.

Made with Japanese plum liquor and wolfberries.
