Featuring new creation from @lainesbakes - a watermelon cake topped with strawberries, grapes, pistachios, sliced almonds and dried rose petals.

Inspired by the famed Black Star Pastry’s Strawberry Watermelon Cake, Elaine’s own recreation of it was exceptional as well. This is hands-down the most refreshing cake I’d ever tried🙌🏻

The visual of this dessert is definitely made for social media snapping and sharing 😍. No wonder it’s dubbed the most instagrammed cake in the world!

Besides being a feast for your eyes, this cake is definitely a delectable treat for your tummy as well. It tastes just as good as it looks!

@lainesbakes watermelon rose cake was super fresh, light and fragrant. The fruits were really fresh, sweet and juicy! It’s really unique to see a thick layer of watermelon in between the layers of sponge cake. There are desiccated coconut in the sponge cake layers to compliment the overall taste. The combination of aromas, floral sweetness and fresh ingredients evoke a range of emotions, making each mouthful into a long-lasting memory😌
