Masalaa Bar — Indian Street Food on East Coast Road
Located along East Coast Road, @masalaabar is a quirky bar featuring fun Indian street and flashy food in a whole new avatar that’s heavily wicked on the tastebuds yet easy on pockets!
Specially curated by the Celebrity Chef Milind Sovani, the menu showcases @masalaabar refreshing take on traditional Indian food, such as:
🫓𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐁 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐝
An eye-catching and light appetiser. Chef Sovani shared that friends and familyy can break the papadum together after saying well wishes, which I thought added a beautiful meaning to the dish.
🥃𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬
A renowned Indian street food that’s basically a crispy puff with a refreshing mint water shot and a touch of spicy and tangy sauce. Watch the video to see how we ate it!
🥖𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐨 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐣𝐢
Served with garlic crostini pao, the vegetable melt consists of an assortment of vegetables and spices. Rich, earthy, fragrant and mildly spicy flavours coming together in harmony and dominating our palates.
🦐𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧𝐬
The flavours were really great here! Creamy and savoury, this is a perfect appetiser to have!
🐟𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐲
Came in an Indian food truck, the battered seer fish steaks were fried to perfection and served with a pinch of lemon and spice. A perfect side dish for sharing!
🥭𝐊𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨
A sweet ending to the sumptuous meal with their homemade Indian frostie.
Apart from tasty food, @masalaabar also features a wide selection of cocktails, such as 🍹𝐀𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢 and 🍸𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢.
@masalaabar is no doubt a great entry to Indian cuisine and a fun spot to gather with friends and loved ones over a meal or drink!
