A fascinating fact is that Cheng Kee’s dry noodles comes with a gelatinous beefy broth instead of the usual dry noodles with minimal sauce. The thick, mildly peppery and gooey broth coated every strand of noodles adequately, making each mouthful enjoyable and flavorful.

Next, to the highlight of the entire dish - beef slices. The meat was so tender!! It was soft and pleasantly chewy.

This was my first time trying chinchalok and was amazed at how well it goes with the bowl of beefy noodles! Love how the preserved vegetables, chilli and chinchalok enhances the overall flavor. I am super awed at how well they mix together! It’s super shiok to mix in the chilli and chinchalok!! So do help yourself with generous scoops of it!
