Mummy's Meesua — Meesua Kueh & Dry Fried Mee Siam

1️⃣ 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐚 𝐊𝐮𝐞𝐡 & 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢

I find Meesua Kueh to be pretty unique and uncommon to the traditional kuehs such as pumpkin and yam kueh. Made using strands of meesua, 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐚 𝐊𝐮𝐞𝐡 has a nice mouthfeel with a mild salty aftertaste.

I like it that we can enjoy this dish in so many ways! You can eat it straight upon delivery, air-fry, pan-fry, deep-fry or steam it! My preferred method is to pan-fry them as it brings out the flavor of the Meesua Kueh and adds a crisp exterior to the otherwise soft and moist Meesua Kueh. This is best paired with their 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 as it elevates the taste of the dish! Love their chilli as it’s fragrant and packs a punch!

2️⃣ 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐦

It’s actually my first time trying Dry Mee Siam! And I like it alot! Alike to Fried Beehoon texture, their 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐦 is very flavorful with a mild tangy and sweet profile.

3️⃣ 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬

These bite-sized 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 are fragrant and tasty! Pair it with their 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 for an extra “lift”!
