One of the must-eat when you’re in Batam is definitely SEAFOOD!

Tried Steam King instead of the usual restaurants recommended online and by guides, and no regrets!

Apart from the fresh seafood offered, the unique selling point of Steam King is that all the food is cooked right infront of you in a high-pressured cooker installed on the table top. All the food is cook by steaming method, hence able to retain the freshness and sweetness of the seafood. Additionally, underneath the steamer, rice is being cooked into porridge so all the goodness from the fresh seafood, meat and vegetables will go into making the flavor of your porridge (which is to be eaten last). *Scroll to the end to watch how it’s being prepared at the start*

The staff will cook the food for you and serve you thereafter. The prawns were so fresh, juicy and sweet!! Must-order!!
