Shaw Centre Omakase
@lesamisgroupsg latest addition to its stellar portfolio of restaurants is @kissajin.sg at Shaw Centre.
This is definitely the most interesting omakase experience I’ve had! We were welcomed with a game of “yoyo tsuri” - where we got to hook up a balloon that is popped over a bowl to reveal a smooth orb of 𝐆𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐟𝐮 – this is served with a zesty yuzu dressing. Certain courses are served to the table using an ‘okamochi’ – a three-tier box traditionally used to deliver food from door to door.
Helmed by Chef Ryo Yamaguchi alongside Executive Chef Makoto Saito, @kissajin.sg proffers an experiential menu that is refreshed quarterly to highlight prime seasonal produce.
I tried their specially-curated eight-course dinner omakase menu. At $𝟗𝟖++ per pax, you can expect the following:
1️⃣ 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬
Tazuna Sushi, Smoked Scallop, charcoal-battered Karage, red bean-filled Mochi
2️⃣ 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐮 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 | 𝐄𝐠𝐠
3️⃣ 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦
4️⃣ 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐢
5️⃣ 𝐘𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐮
6️⃣ 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧
7️⃣ 𝐔𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐮 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐰𝐚 𝐔𝐝𝐨𝐧
8️⃣ 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐧𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐮
Hurry hit up @kissajin.sg for a fun and delicious omakase experience!
