Shrove Tuesday — Revamped Cafe Menu at Toa Payoh

Nestled in a cozy corner under a HDB Block in Toa Payoh, @shrovetuesday_sg is back with a newly revamped look and menu!

You’ll definitely be spoilt for choices at @shrovetuesday_sg as they offer a wide-range of varieties, ranging from desserts to mains to sides and drinks.

Here’s what we tried:

🍦𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐦 & 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦

Up to 18 ice cream flavors to choose from, we paired their new and improved Charcoal Waffle with Pistachio and Rum & Raisins ice cream. The waffles were soft and fluffy with a crisp exterior. Goes really well with the fragrant and smooth ice cream!

🍳𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢-𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞-𝐔𝐩

Their version of rosti is of the super crispy kind - very crunchy throughout but may be slightly dry for some.

Very smooth with a good ratio between matcha and coffee. Totally enjoyed this!

☕️𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐨

The bold coffee flavor was nicely contrasted by the creamy sweetness of the scoop of vanilla ice cream. A delightful afternoon drink!
