For the burnt blue cheesecake, Daniel sourced for Blu Del Moncenisio, a premium italian blue cheese which adds a depth of cheese flavor with a sweet and creamy finishing touch.

This is my first time trying burnt blue cheesecake! And I gotta say I prefer this much more compared to the original burnt cheesecake! Compared to consuming blue cheese on it’s own, the addition of blue cheese to the cheesecake was not too sharp or pungent, despite a more profound cheese flavor. I really appreciate the stronger flavors and it pairs really well with the creamy, dense and rich cheesecake. Moreover, there is a good transition from the solid exterior to the smooth and creamy molten gooey centre.

Personally, I prefer the burnt blue cheesecake but do take note that it’s not for everyone. Try it if you love to experience a more profound cheese flavor in your burnt cheesecake. Otherwise, @sliceoflife.co offers original burnt cheesecake as well which is what most of you are familiar with - sweeter with a milder cheese flavor.
