The Daily Catch — Laksa with XL Cockles

Warm the cockles of your heart with this comforting bowl of laksa paired with XL cockles from the @thedailycatchsg !

For me, laksa is only complete when there’s cockles in it! I am super elated when I got my hands on these XL-size cockles from @thedailycatchsg ! Gone are the days of digging through the bowl of laksa for those minute-size cockles.

For the laksa base, I used @killineysg Laksa Paste and added coconut milk. The laksa broth was flavorful and contains a pretty bold flavor from Killiney’s secret blend of nonya spices and hae bee hiam (spicy dried shrimp), yet light enough to not be cloying.

Definitely a slurp-worthy bowl of laksa!
